AN IDIOT’S GUIDE TO GOD
Introduction
This collection is called An Idiot’s Guide to God, although many of the subjects in these volumes will help people who have no interest in knowing if there is a God. It informs them how they can have better relationships, which will be put into an idiot's guide format for them. It also makes people aware of facts—not conspiracies—regarding the real, impending issues that we are facing in our not-too-distant future so that we, as individuals, can better prepare. Furthermore, it offers an overall objective, detective-like stance looking at what people believe and its authenticity, using the same uniform approach to all religions covered, including atheism.
🧭 The Train incounter & A Divine Sign
The inspiration for compiling these books was not born from myself. Several decades ago, when I was in my early twenties, I was told by a stranger I met on a train that a book is like a map: the more you sell, the more money is made. The strange thing is the fact that he used a map as an analogy for a book, which is exactly what this book—which I had no partial thought of creating at the time—is set out to be for people.
Then, when the time came and I was meant to start writing, I felt that what this man and a few others in my path had said had pointed me in the direction I needed to go to compile these books. When I came to that realisation four years ago, I felt a spirit over me that brought so much peace and joy, and in that time, I felt led to call the collection An Idiot’s Guide to God.
My husband at the time was doing building work, and he had landed a contract that took him away from where we resided. He had no friends or relatives in the area. Whilst taking a break from work, he bumped into a lady he had never met before. She turned to him and said my name. He asked how she knew it, and she said it was God who had told her. She then stated the name of the book collection. Once again, his jaw dropped in surprise, knowing it wasn't even something we had discussed with others for people to have known. She said, "This book will be big, and I can't wait to read it." For me, it was confirmation I had chosen the right title, and for my husband, it reinforced and proved to him that what I was saying God had told me was true.
📜 Choosing an Unlikely Messenger
For a while, I pondered why I had been chosen to write these books. I asked God, and for a year I had no answer. I know I am not the most intelligent person, nor the most well-read, and I'm not flawless—although I work on my issues to try and self-improve all the time. Finally, a year later, I did get an answer. What I heard from God was that He chose me because I was willing to listen.
Not being a very well-studied person has meant that I have had to put a lot of research into what I have compiled, with my intention being to ensure that what I publish is factually correct. This has also meant conducting multiple fact-checks even after compiling the information.
We are at the dawn of darkness, and the true facts of that being so can be seen through what scientists are predicting. This is not a scare tactic; read the information and check the facts for yourself.
🧩 Facing the Truth
As a final note, I'd like to let people know that before I started writing these books, I kept getting the phrase: "cow poop baffles people's brains." Unfortunately, that seems to be the reality with many different things we do and believe in.
The question is, do you want to be a truth-seeker and know about all the things that have an effect on you, and what you can do to change it before it’s too late? Or do you want to live the way you are because change isn’t always easy? It is not always easy to have that glass-shattering moment. As humans, we have a natural core defence mechanism if what we hear goes against our core beliefs of ourselves or our core belief systems—even when it comes to how we believe things have come to exist.
These books will cover many sensitive topics, and I am sure I will encounter some people who won’t like what’s been said. But the truth is the truth, and there's no sugar-coating it to appease people.
🎵 A Message of Love and Reality
I got Celine Dion's "The Power of Love"... In the Bible, we are depicted as Christ's bride and He, our bridegroom. This song is for you, and it’s to say He is with us. When you look into His eyes and see His soul, you’ll see how He moves when He talks, and how warm and tender His love is for us.
You may be thinking about why He lets all the crud in the world happen, but all is explained in the books. When you see the depths of His love, it is one that you could not forsake—the purest and best love you could ever imagine. Whenever He reaches for us, we need to do all we can to be with Him. You’ll be heading for something with Him, somewhere you’ve never been, but He has big plans for those who truly will listen to what He has to say. It can be frightening, as He will require you to step out in faith, and this doesn’t mean it will be an easy ride.
If you’re ready to learn the power of love, just look into His eyes, His soul, and see who He really is. You will be free and at peace, with a bubbling Holy Spirit inside you as an extra guide. When I say look at His eyes to peer into someone’s eyes, you peer into their soul; this is what makes them tick, what moves them, and what they stand for.
I then got... is this the real life, is this just fantasy, caught in a landslide, no escape from reality, open your eyes, look up to the skies and see (look up to God), I’m just a poor boy, I need no sympathy.
He wants to say this through the opening lyrics of "Bohemian Rhapsody". The poor boy is humble, living a life that—when you see it in 4D with the spiritual side rather than us just walking around in our daily lives with only what we can physically see—seems like a bit of a fantasy. We are caught in a world where you can’t escape from sin, and from man who causes destruction too (a landslide), but look to Him for the answers and they are all there.
🕊️ Why This Collection is Free
These books are to go out for free on my website, as I feel no one should be charged to know the truth. However, if people choose to buy hard copies or read it on Kindle, all proceeds will go to God's work.
This doesn’t mean putting it into churches, but helping the poor and needy, and helping organise places so that when times get worse—which science and the Bible predict they will in the next few decades—there will be places where people can gather what they need. The digital download on Kindle carries a small fee but will be free at times; unfortunately, Amazon's regulations prevent me from consistently offering it for free on their site.
